The latest Filament release has support for a sidebar only app with no top bar which means there's nowhere for the indicator badge to go.

When it's running in sidebar mode then the indicator could go above the users name I guess and still have the coloured border at the top of the screen.

I'm hoping to have a go at fixing this issue myself at some point.
